COMPLETE PROSTATE SCREENING

Expert Prostate Cancer Diagnostics and Care

From a single PSA blood test through to a full MRI-guided pathway and follow-up care, Mr Ghei provides comprehensive private prostate screening across London.

PSA Blood Test

Precise prostate-specific antigen test, reviewed against your age, family history and any symptoms. Results within 2 to 3 working days.

Prostate MRI (mpMRI)

The gold-standard prostate scan recommended by NICE. More accurate than PSA alone and reduces unnecessary biopsies.

Targeted Prostate Biopsy

Image-guided biopsy of any area flagged on MRI. Far more precise than the older “blind” approach.

Enlarged Prostate (BPH)

Diagnosis and treatment of benign prostate enlargement, including UroLift, TURP and other minimally invasive options.

Prostate Cancer Treatment

Full care if cancer is identified. Surgery, HIFU, hormone therapy, active surveillance and follow-up with the same consultant.

Raised PSA. Second Opinion

Already had a high PSA reading? Get a second opinion and a clear next-step plan from a consultant urologist.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can I get a prostate screening appointment?
Most men are seen within a few days of enquiry. Mr Ghei holds clinics across 4 London hospitals, so there is usually availability at a location convenient to you.
Initial consultations are £250. A complete screening package (PSA blood test, consultant review and prostate MRI) typically falls between £TBC and £TBC depending on which hospital you attend and whether further investigation is needed. We confirm the full cost up front before any appointment.
For most men, screening is worth considering from age 50. If you have a family history of prostate or breast cancer, or if you are of black ethnicity, that age drops to 45.
Avoid ejaculation for 48 hours before the test, vigorous exercise (especially cycling) for 48 hours, and any urinary tract procedures or catheter use for the previous six weeks. All of these can temporarily raise PSA and skew the result.
No. You can book a private prostate screening directly. With your permission, we will write to your GP afterwards to keep them informed.
Yes. Mr Ghei is recognised by all major UK insurers including Bupa (Platinum consultant), AXA Health, Vitality, WPA, Cigna and Aviva. We can also provide pre-authorisation codes if your insurer requires them.
