Mr Ghei is a Bupa Platinum recognised consultant. Bring your policy details and we handle pre-authorisation before your appointment. Check your excess and any GP referral requirement with your insurer - we can guide you through what your policy needs.

Before you book

Why are there two kinds of fee?

Private care has a consultant fee (your time and care with Mr Ghei) and hospital fees (tests, scans and facilities, charged by the hospital). We always explain both up front, so the total is clear before you decide.

Will my insurance cover everything?

Mr Ghei is recognised by all major UK insurers and we pre-authorise before your appointment. Policies differ on excess and GP referral requirements though - check with your insurer, and we will guide you through what yours needs.

Do I need a referral to book?

Self-pay patients can book directly with no GP referral. Some insurers require one for claims - if yours does, we will let you know before your appointment.
